The Co-op’s first initiative was to work in collaboration with other area businesses to organize group purchasing and distribution of premium wood pellets for our members. While this effort helped to meet the immediate needs of area residents for the 2008-2009 heating season, it set the stage for local production of biomass pellets in 2009.
